The Navy's first aircraft carriers

Almost at the outbreak of World War One the Grand Fleet reported to the Admiralty it had been spotted at sea by German aeroplanes and Zeppelins. Sueter took advantage and suggested that a seaplane carrier should accompany the Grand Fleet to combat this threat.
